A Triumph for Our Under-17 Team!
The Future Stars Football Academy U-17 team has done it again! After months of hard work, dedication, and intense training, our team emerged victorious in the Regional Youth Championship, a prestigious tournament that brought together the best youth teams from across the region. The final match, held at the Bafoussam Municipal Stadium, was a nail-biting affair, with both teams showing incredible skill and resilience.
From the first whistle, our players took control of the game, displaying the teamwork and tactical awareness that they have developed over the season. The team’s captain, Blaise M., led by example, scoring the winning goal in the 85th minute after a brilliant build-up play. Blaise was also awarded Player of the Tournament for his outstanding contributions throughout the championship, with five goals and four assists to his name.
The coaching staff, led by Coach Joseph Mba, praised the team’s hard work and determination, crediting their success to the academy’s focus on holistic player development, which includes physical conditioning, mental preparation, and strategic gameplay. “This victory is a reflection of the hard work these boys have put in. It’s not just about winning but about developing players who are disciplined, confident, and skilled,” said Coach Mba.
Parents, supporters, and academy staff are incredibly proud of the U-17 team and their achievements. We look forward to seeing more from these talented young athletes in the future.
